Please find below our local scholarships for 2024. Local scholarships are in the process of being updated throughout semester two. Scholarships are not updated unless it says updated beside the title of the scholarship. Updates and new additions will happen periodically throughout the semester, so Keep Checking Back Regularly! Please note scholarship amounts may change. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on a balance of academic performance, financial need, extracurricular activities, and community contributions. The students must be starting a recognized four year college/university program in the fall aiming to earn a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math. This scholarship will be awarded in the second semester upon confirmation of enrolment in the second term. There are four scholarships valued at $1,000 each (one per region). The scholarship is for the recipients’ first year attendance at any university or recognized college anywhere in Canada. Those eligible are sons, daughters, or legal wards of CUPE 2745 members (student attendants, educational assistants, school intervention workers, library workers, secretaries, clerks, administrative assistants and ASL’s I to V from school districts).
